Berlie Technologies Inc. is a pioneer in the development of municipal infrastructure equipment for municipalities in Canada's Artic region.

Berlie's involvement contributed to the development of a system of access vaults that allow residents and institutions to connect to sewage and drinking water networks.

The foundation, which must be permafrost resistant, is made of steel walls separated by insulation. These installations, used under the polar cap, have long ago replaced traditional concrete equipment used in more southern climates.
